I started this website 2 years ago because I was inspired by Derek Sivers. His blog introduced me to the concept of unoffice hours. I eventually stumbled on Matt Webb who is also a talented writer and brain behind the concept of unoffice hours.
For those who do no know, Matt goes into more detail here. I will do my best to explain the concept. The internet has become a really boring a divisve space. Reaching out to people for connection is alost a foreign concept on most modern platforms. As someone who has their own website you have the privelage that you can write whatever you want. More importantly you can host whatever you would like. There is an element of human touch that you can now build onto your website and space. I would love to get to meet and speak with the people who are generous enough with their time to read my writing. Please don't hesistate to book. I would be genuinely stoked if anyone wants to speak about anything at all. The idea of unoffice hours is that it doesn't have to be productive. The aim is to have a human connection. Matt mentions in his post that he is trying to emulate what it is like to go and grab a coffee with a coworker. If you want to bring a coffee to our meeting you are more than welcome too!
